Constructed in 1883, this structure was originally built as two attached brownstones in the Queen Anne style. In the 1930's, the building at 380 Commonwealth Ave was purchased by the Harvard Club for use as entertainment space and guest rooms. This project returned the property to its former elegance by adding a 5th floor and redeveloping the building into 5 luxury condominiums ranging in size from 2,400 sf to 4,000 sf with a mix of single floor and duplex configurations. Only one of the 5 condos was built to architectural specifications, the others all customized to meet the buyer’s unique requirements and preferences. The project carefully retains the historic presence of the property.
